These bi-monthly gatherings will be offered for those adults who serve our parishes in any aspect of lifelong faith formation. These sessions will serve as opportunities for growing in knowledge of our Catholic faith, as well as developing one's skills in evangelization, with a special emphasis on catechesis.

This effort is part of a larger plan to grow adult faith formation opportunities in all of the parishes of our diocese.

For the next year, the C.A.I.M. Gatherings will focus on the themes found in the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults.  Presenters of these sessions will include staff of the Office of Lifelong Faith Formation and the Chancery.

Textbooks:  United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, Catechism of the Catholic Church

Participants can attend this session at one of the following locations:

Holy Rosary, Caribou - St. Joseph Church, Brewer - Chancery, Portland

Each gathering will have the same format:

  • 6:00 - Meet & Greet (with light refreshments)
  • 6:30 - Presentation
  • 8:00 - Departure
